Yay – we are open until mid-August for now... A break from our hiatus. Let's try this!
Temporarily open again to slowly test and tweak our new Lyon-based warehouse. After a period of temporary hiatus, closing the online boutique for some time and merely displaying a Hiatus Maintenance Mode, we are trying to tweak Stereohype's operation with new shipping from the EU.
So please note – unless otherwise agreed prior to wholesale, contributor and larger orders – we will from now on ship from Lyon, France. To avoid Brexit shenanigans we can arrange for larger orders to UK stockists for example to be shipped directly from our UK-based badge maker. Our core clientele is based throughout the EU however and they all benefit from the new shipping costs.

HIATUS
Stereohype is currently in Maintenance Mode. We are moving and are carefully considering options and possibilities to also operate smoothly from a new EU-based branch going forward.
We apologise that we had to close our online boutique in the process. For now – temporarily. Please follow our journey and next adventures on Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter, Threads and LinkedIn where we will keep you in the loop about it all.

This year’s 30 hand-picked button badge gems were selected by our esteemed jury panel from 458 accepted entries. Congratulations to all runners-up and winners. Thanks so much to the many judges – current and past – for all their help and a big THANK YOU to all the participants and supporters for the ongoing interest in our competition. Our curated VIP design initiative is also out now! Selected international designers, illustrators and artists were once again invited this year to submit designs for this curated one inch (25mm) button badge series. Stereohype sells B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) Series 22 badges separately, as artist gift boxes with sets of four and seven badges. Some are also available in 7" glory and feature on 8x10" Button Badge Motif Prints – the label’s fine giclée edition with now over 500 artworks to choose from.
B.I.O. Series 22 includes artworks by Alex Camacho, Atelier Works, Laurie Rosenwald, Marc Atkins, Rob Sanders, Stupendous, Tomi Vollauschek / FL@33.

Save the date! We had so much fun last summer that we do it again – we will be out there in the wild once more... Please come and visit Stereohype’s Illustrators' Winter Fair stand on Saturday, 10 December 2022, where we will offer all our 1777 beautiful button badges and bring a few optional gift boxes along. Over 100 illustrators and artists will again be part of this beautiful (and free) event in London. 11am–5pm. Competition update /// Thank you all so much for supporting our design contest. The 458 eligible entries of this year’s 18th annual Stereohype Button Badge Design Competition are now being considered by our esteemed 17-strong jury panel consisting of previous competition winners, B.I.O. participants, button badge loving writers and journalists and last but not least Stereohype founders FL@33’s Agathe Jacquillat and Tomi Vollauschek. NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE: 22 September 2022 The vast majority is always being submitted in the last few days before the deadline – regardless of when exactly we launch the call for entries or when the deadline is. We tried to get things done a bit earlier this year but there are simply not enough submissions in yet to avoid us getting nervous.
We therefore decided to extend the call for entries until the end of 22 September. Thank you to all the participants who already sent in their entries!

A Big THANK YOU for everybody who managed to join us yesterday at our illustrators' Fair Stereohype stand. It was such a pleasure to finally observe customers browse our button badges. The sound. The interaction. The chats. We missed that. Back to being an online shop now. I hope you will still enjoy browsing our collection – even if you find Music- or Cat-themed badges so much easier and faster online… ;) Big thanks to Josh – our first-time Stereohype assistant for the day. We have over 500 – in fact almost all of our currently 523 Button Button Badge Motif prints in stock at the moment. The circular artworks are printed vividly in glorious 7" on beautifully textured 310gsm 8 x 10" (20.3 x 25.4cm) Hahnemühle archival stock. Usually printed on demand within 3 weekdays, we always try to keep our stocked collection complete.
