MusaCollective was formed in October 2003 by Raquel Viana, Paulo Lima and Ricardo Alexandre. In 2004 the Lisbon-based collective of graphic designers organized the MusaTour exhibition supporting the MusaBook project – the first Portuguese graphic design book ever compiled (published by idN, Hong Kong). Projects such as NLF Magazine, the first Portuguese Qee Happy toy and their exclusive, limited merchandising goods (ThePack, HoleMug) followed. Commercial work developed by Musa-WorkLab helped to put the Portuguese design scene firmly on the map.
