We’re continuing to test and fine-tune our new Lyon-based warehouse. Following a temporary hiatus, during which our online boutique was closed and displayed a “Hiatus Maintenance Mode” message, we’re now refining Stereohype’s operations with new EU-based shipping from France.

Please note: unless otherwise agreed upon prior to wholesale, contributor, and larger orders, we will, from now on, ship from Lyon, France. Shipment within the UK exception: To avoid Brexit shenanigans, we can arrange for larger orders to UK stockists, for example, to be shipped directly from our UK-based badge maker. Our core clientele is based throughout the EU; however, they all benefit from the new shipping costs.

FL@33, the multi-disciplinary design studio founded in 2001, launched its sister company Stereohype in October 2004. Originally conceived as an experimental platform for creative exploration, Stereohype has grown into an international graphic art label and online boutique that supports both emerging and established talents. Today, both FL@33 and its sister company Stereohype are run and led by co-founder and Creative Director Tomi Vollauschek, an internationally acclaimed designer and educator with over 20 years of experience.

1,750+ button badges by 650+ contributors

Stereohype's popular product range includes hundreds of beautifully printed graphic art prints and an ever-growing button badge collection that consists of winning designs entered to the label's annual button badge design competition, now in its 20th year, plus badges created specially for Stereohype's By Invitation Only (B.I.O.) Button Badge Series. Various other badge design projects are also added to the range occasionally. Stereohype also offers hundreds of artist and themed button badge gift boxes, books, exclusively commissioned artworks, wallart, limited editions and rare one-off products – a mix of hand-picked goodies by designers and artists from around the world. The focus is on fresh, innovative and inspirational works. Stereohype products are available worldwide via stereohype.com, graphic art label's online boutique, and carefully selected, international stockists.

Anniversary: Stereohype 2004–2014

In 2014 Stereohype celebrated its 10th anniversary with a large retrospective exhibition as part of London Design Festival and hosted by London College Of Communication (LCC), University of the Arts. The popular show was extended and ran for a whopping eight weeks. It was aptly titled Stereohype 2004–2014 and so was the FL@33-designed anniversary book published at this occasion. It featured specially commissioned posters and button badges, various Stereohype projects and the entire button badge collection that reached the magical number of 1,000 individual designs at this occasion created by over 300 contributors. All badges (by now already over 1,750 badges by over 650 contributors), the exhibition catalogue and posters (10x10 Series) are available here and so are over 500 badge motifs that were already released as part of the new and growing 8x10" Button Badge Motif Print edition – beautifully vibrant prints that feature a selection of enlarged button badge motifs as circular 7" designs.

Sophisticated matchbox-style gift boxes

For our online customers all Stereohype button badges come now even more beautifully presented in at least one elegant machtbox-style gift box with foil-blocked Stereohype mascot squirrel in rose-gold. Individually ordered pick 'n' mix badges are placed in one of three available gift box sizes (1–5 badges, 6–16 or the largest gift box that holds up to 25 badges). Additionally we also offer Themed and Artist Gift Boxes of 3–5 and a long variant for 7 badges. Gift boxes can be purchased as complete units and an Artist Gift Box: 4 button badges for example would then of course stay in its individual gift box while any additional, separately ordered badges would come in another group gift box.
