TwoPoints.Net, the design studio, was founded in 2007 by Lupi Asensio and Martin Lorenz, but it actually exists since 2000. It emerged as an independent platform for experimental projects. The name TwoPoints refers to the colon found in German and Spanish that marks the transition between the speaker and his message. TwoPoints consider their work on visual communication to be like the two points between the sender and the receiver. The additional Net demonstrates that in spite of being a small office, they oversee large-scale projects that involve a network of excellent professionals from diverse fields; a network that changes according to each project. TwoPoints specialises in flexible visual identities and editorial projects. Some of their best known publications are Neuland, the I Love Type Series for the Hong Kong publisher Viction:ary and Pretty Ugly, Left, Right, Up, Down and Type Navigator for the Berlin-based publisher Gestalten. In 2012 TwoPoints launched their very own design school, Design Werkstatt (or Design Workshop in English) offering courses in Barcelona and Berlin.
