All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin (although it looks more like an 'e'). Tiny stickers at the back mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. The growing collection of these mobile mini canvases – featuring over 1,600 individual designs by over 600 international graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and artists – consists of all B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) contributions, winners of Stereohype's annual button badge design competition and additional series such as the special collaborations: AFOMFS Series, MICA Series, 10x10 Series and Emoji Series. Badges are manufactured in the United Kingdom.
This artwork is also available as Button Badge Motif Print.
Dan's button badge artworks where created by physically holding a white circular paper mask over existing collages. He then took pictures of his selected details. Collages are based on a series of originally rectangular collages Dan worked on at the time titled Information May Have Been Lost (IMHBL).
(...) ‘I like the prints very much – the paper and print quality are really excellent. That whole project is so interesting – I'm amazed at the number and variety of the badges, and very impressed by the quality of presentation. I'm happy to have been able to take part in it!’ — Dan Fern
