All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin. Tiny stickers at the back mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. The growing collection of these mobile mini canvases – featuring over 1,700 individual designs by over 600 international graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and artists – consists of all B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) contributions, winners of Stereohype's annual button badge design competition and additional series such as the special collaborations: AFOMFS Series, MICA Series, 10x10 Series and Emoji Series. These custom emoji artworks originally featured in the FL@33-designed book The Story of Emoji by Gavin Lucas (Prestel Publishing, March 2016). If you could create a new emoji, what would it be? Gavin Lucas asked a number of image-makers from around the world to design new emoji characters they wish really existed. Book contributions were submitted just before iOS 9 was released (which also included the 'Metal Fingers' / 'Devil's Horns' emoji addition). One day soon – hopefully – all these bespoke emoji suggestions will be included... This one inch (25mm) button badge series is a collaboration between Stereohype, Gavin Lucas and the selected emoji contributors Ali Graham, Crispin Finn, David Henckel, FL@33, Friso Blankevoort, Hey Studio, Jan Kallwejt, Julian Morey, Liza Nelson, Lucy Vigrass, Matt Chase, Matthew Bromley, Mr Bingo, Nick Shea, Noma Bar, Peskimo, Richard Hogg, Rob Flowers, Serge Seidlitz, Tane Williams and TwoPoints.
