PLEASE NOTE — Our long so-called bracelet-style top lid gift boxes (215 x 45 x 25mm) will soon be replaced with Stereohype's new matchbox-style gift box versions. We only have limited stock of these long boxes left during this transition period. New additions will automatically be packaged with our new matchbox-style packaging. We will gradually reshoot preview visuals but for now it is what you see is what you get.
Each of these long luxury gift boxes contains seven of Stereohype's popular button badges. Selected designs are taken from Stereohype's growing button badge collection. So-called Artist Gift Boxes feature button badges designed by only one of Stereohype's super-talented 600+ international contributors – artists, illustrators, designers, architects, photographers, collectives and studios. Inside the elegant matt black cardboard gift box is a black flock pad and badges are directly pinned into it. All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin (although it looks more like an 'e'). Tiny stickers at the back of each button badge mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. Badges are printed and encapsulated with love and care in the United Kingdom.
Badges by FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek from Stereohype's B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) Button Badge Series 20.
Single badge SKUs: B1559B20, B1560B20, B1561B20, B1562B20, B1563B20, B1564B20 and B1565B20.
The seven artworks are also available as Button Badge Motif Print.
FL@33 is a multi-disciplinary design studio for visual communication with over 20 years of experience. Its two founders met on the Royal College of Art's postgraduate Communication Art and Design course in London and set up their company there after graduating in 2001.
Since then, FL@33 has created an award-winning, internationally published body of work, ranging from self-initiated projects to commissioned work for clients from around the world, across many different sectors, regardless of size and budget. Their work spans from logos and visual identity systems to tone of voice, image-making to complete book designs, from magazine and book cover designs to posters and websites, moving image and spatial design.
The Franco-Austrian founding directors have been described as multi-lingual, multi-specialised design activists consistently striving to exceed expectations of their demanding clients – using wit and humour to create fresh, imaginative and engaging visual communication, products and interior designs.
FL@33 is today led by co-founding Creative Director Tomi Vollauschek – a Frankfurt am Main, Germany-born Austrian. He is an inspirational, passionate and dedicated designer who gives international lectures, judges, art directs, consults, designs, curates, exhibits, contributes to books and magazines, conceives, compiles, edits and writes his own internationally published books, runs workshops, teaches and also develops design products for the studio's sister company, Stereohype. Stereohype.com was launched in 2004 as an international platform for both emerging and established talents and is a graphic art label with an online boutique.
A FL@33 monograph (Design & Designer 033 – FL@33) was published in 2005 by Pyramyd. FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek (under the FL@33 tag) also authored and designed three books that were published worldwide by Laurence King and partner publishers: Postcard (2008), Made & Sold: Toys, T-Shirts, Prints, Zines and Other Stuff (2009) and The 3D Type Book (2011). In the same year FL@33’s popular online sound collection project bzzzpeek.com was exhibited in New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Together, Agathe and Tomi self-published the widely acclaimed Trans-form magazine (2001) and the tenth anniversary book and exhibition catalogue Stereohype 2004–2014 that Tomi conceived, compiled and designed.
