This elegant matchbox-style gift box contains four designs from Stereohype's growing button badge collection – now available for the first time in this superb packaging solution. A rose-gold foil-blocked Stereohype mascot squirrel was hand-printed in the UK at the top of the gift box (outside dimensions: 75 x 72 x 16mm). Inside the beautiful matt black cardboard gift box is a black flock pad and badges are directly pinned into it. All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin (although it looks more like an 'e'). Tiny stickers at the back of each button badge mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. Badges are manufactured with love and care in the United Kingdom.
Neringa Dastoor (aka Neringa Plange) completed a Graphic Design diploma in Lithuania in 1999, followed by Art Direction in Visual Communication at AAA School of Advertising, Johannesburg, South Africa in 2004. After focusing on ideas generation within Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis placements in South Africa, she worked as a freelance graphic designer since she returned to Europe in 2006. After graduating with a BA (1st) in Graphic Arts in Liverpool John Moores University in 2011 she graduated with MA in Visual Communication, Royal College of Art, 2011–13. With her MA at RCA she dipped into the area of imagined design fictions in search for unplanned and unexpected, to provoke critical response and in order to cultivate a place for creative speculation. Neringa's main practice as a graphic designer allows her to continuously investigate the essential nature of visual communication as an interconnected discipline with the core emphasis on the fundamental human values. Alongside her graphic design work she has also taught BA Students at Liverpool John Moores University: typography, layout and other curiosities related to visual communication. Currently Neringa continues teaching part-time and is in working on her drawings on fabric.
