Fine Art Giclée Print — GA0043BA3

£200

Product

Stereohype's Fine Art Giclée Prints are printed on demand on super-elegant Hahnemühle German Etching Textured 310gsm. This is one of Hahnemühle's genuine artist papers, mould made, 100% acid free paper with an exceptionally smooth surface. This velvety heavyweight etching board has a fine surface texture. German Etching is one of the most popular media for artwork and photography. The paper is made of 100% cotton or pure alpha cellulose presenting a textured surface that allows high quality printing. Artworks are printed with archival inks – a ten colour ink set including orange and greens for vivid and long-lasting results.

This print is available in three sizes. All signed, numbered and certified with Agathe Jacquillat's embossed AJ monogram. A1 / 594mm x 841mm / 23.4" x 33.1": limited edition of 10 each. A2 / 594mm x 420mm / 23.4" x 16.5": limited edition of 20 each. A3 / 420mm x 297mm / 16.5" x 11.7": limited edition of 50 each.

Artist(s)

Agathe Jacquillat, together with fellow Royal College of Art graduate Tomi Vollauschek, co-founded FL@33, a multi-disciplinary design studio in London in 2001 and Stereohype in 2004.

Since then FL@33 has created an award-winning, internationally published body of work, ranging from self-initiated projects to commissioned work for clients from around the world, across many different sectors, regardless of size and budget. From logos to integrated identity systems, intriguing imagery to complete book designs, from poster campaigns to websites, moving image and interior design.

A FL@33 monograph (Design & Designer 033 – FL@33) was published in 2005 by Pyramyd and the three books authored and designed by FL@33' Tomi Vollauschek were published worldwide by Laurence King and partner publishers: Postcard (2008), Made & Sold: Toys, T-Shirts, Prints, Zines and Other Stuff (2009) and more recently The 3D Type Book (2011). In the same year FL@33’s popular online sound collection project bzzzpeek.com was exhibited in New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Together, Agathe and Tomi self-published the widely acclaimed Trans-form magazine (2001) and the tenth anniversary book and exhibition catalogue Stereohype 2004–2014 that Tomi conceived, compiled and designed.

Series

These limited edition prints by FL@33's Agathe Jacquillat are part of an expanding body of work – graphic art inspired by the subject of 'beautiful remains'. The slightly morbid yet colourful and joyful compositions are based on her ever-growing series of photographs of deflated balloons. The party is over but only just begins: so far including Balloon Series 1–4 and her 10x10 contribution. Balloon Series 1–4 prints are available in a range of different sizes.
