All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin (although it looks more like an 'e'). Tiny stickers at the back mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. The growing collection of these mobile mini canvases – featuring over 1,500 individual designs by over 500 international graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and artists – consists of all B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) contributions, winners of Stereohype's annual button badge design competition and additional series such as the special collaborations: AFOMFS Series, MICA Series, 10x10 Series and Emoji Series. Badges are manufactured in the United Kingdom.
Mai Ly (Maily) Degnan is a Florida-born illustrator, currently based in Baltimore, MD. She earned her BFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as her MFA in Illustration Practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Maily is obsessed with tedious line work, pattern making, and creating humorous illustrations that make light of unfortunate events. She enjoys juxtaposing upsetting subject matter with children's-book-like illustrations. This pairing of opposites often comes across as quirky and offbeat, which is exactly her aesthetic. Her work has been recognised by The Society of Illustrators of New York and Los Angeles, American Illustration, and 3x3. Some of Maily's favourite things include stop motion, pugs, and John Waters.

This one inch (25mm) button badge series is a collaboration between the MFA in Illustration Practice program (MFA ILP) at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD, USA, and Stereohype. Artworks were created as part of a Made & Sold book-inspired workshop by FL@33 and Stereohype co-founder Tomi Vollauschek that took place at the college in March 2013. The black and white MICA Button Badge Series includes artworks by Alexandra Citrin, Diyou Wu, Eduardo Corral, Joshua Heinsz, Kevin Valente, Lisk Feng, Lynn Chen, Maily Degnan, Sarah Jacoby, Seo Kim, Stacey Montebello and Valeria Molinari. Stereohype sells MICA Series badges separately and gives them away as a free surprise badge with selected Stereohype T-shirts. Released: July 2013
