(By Invitation Only) contributions, winners of Stereohype's annual button badge design competition and additional series such as the special collaborations: AFOMFS Series, MICA Series, 10x10 Series and Emoji Series. Badges are manufactured in the United Kingdom.
Mobil Skin is a small study for a larger project that is currently in progress. The one-inch badge is a background of Caucasian skin texture with the Mobil Oil Pegasus logo embossed into it. The project was inspired by perpetuated cultural concepts of perfection by relating human skin to the plasticky ideal of corporate logos. The skin texture, in place of where the corporate color scheme would normally be, also calls into question the human impact of the behavior of major oil companies like Mobil.
