Andrew Townsend is a graphic designer, art director and artist based in the UK. He is part of the design partnetship Wig-01. The first book Wig-01 edited and designed was Graphic Poetry (Victionary, 2005) – a book of modern poetry from contemporary writers around the world. Leading international designers, illustrators and image makers accepted the challenge of creating a visual response to these poems, their ideas running through the book in a series of double page spreads. Over fifty designers and illustrators have produced original artwork for Graphic Poetry including: Build, Delaware, Marion Deuchars, FL@33, Happypets, Alan Kitching and Rinzen.
