This elegant matchbox-style gift box contains four designs from Stereohype's growing button badge collection – now available for the first time in this superb packaging solution. A rose-gold foil-blocked Stereohype mascot squirrel was hand-printed in the UK at the top of the gift box (outside dimensions: 75 x 72 x 16mm). Inside the beautiful matt black cardboard gift box is a black flock pad and badges are directly pinned into it. All Stereohype button badges available at stereohype.com are classic high quality one inch (25mm) metal back badges with so-called D-pin (although it looks more like an 'e'). Tiny stickers at the back of each button badge mention the artist, release date, series number, etc. Badges are manufactured with love and care in the United Kingdom.
AFOMFS badges come with one specially printed limited edition FL@33-designed shoelace per order (120cm, black, with white Stereohype / Art & Sole / Stereohype / AFOMFS / ... repeat pattern) – while stock lasts.
Toby Neilan creates his work through a process of photography and digital manipulation, introducing hand drawn elements, geometric forms and a strong sense of colour, combined with expressive mark making. Recent developments have seen him drawing with a dot to produce paired-down visuals with a free painterly result. In a collaboration with make up artist Sharon Dowsett, which lasted 10 years, Toby had the opportunity to record and respond to the backstage production of major fashion shows in London, Paris and Milan. Other clients have included, Issey Miyake, where he produced a window installation at Issey’s London Flagship store (illustrating both the interior and that seasons APOC collection), the Kylie X World Tour, in collaboration with design and lighting specialists UVA, and, again working closely with UVA, visuals for Jay-Z Blueprint World Tour. Other international clients have included Y-3, Nike, American Express and IBM.
