Vilderness specialise in hand printed tees. With this, there is no room for mass production so tees are produced to a very limited run.

Vilderness print on sweatshop free T-shirts from a company committed to recycling all of its scraps. As well as holding good ethical values, these tees are noticeably soft and high in quality, providing a superior surface for screen printing.

Vilderness use inks that penetrates the fabric, giving a slight vintage look and layering effect with colour, a major benefit for multi -layered imagery.

Hand printing provides room for more playful compositions than with outsourcing. The finish is not of mechanical perfection, the ink pressure through the screen may vary and the placement of images differ slightly, createing a more craft-like personal finish that is lost through mass production.

Each graphic element comes from a separate screen allowing true layering on the fabric. Compositions are partly created at a whim at the print table from a growing bank of imagery. Although some tees share the same treatment image placements are never truly matched from tee to tee, as each element is registered by hand and eye rather than machine.
