Madeleine Duba is a Czech-Swiss award-winning filmmaker and Illustrator based in London. In 2001 she graduated with a MA in Communication Art and Design at the Royal College of Art. Today Madeleine collaborates with film production companies in the UK and Prague, Madrid, New York as a director, animator and art director.

As an animation director she has directed several short films, music videos, title sequences, including the award winning 'Water?' (1. Prize Gold Prix Leonardo Certificateat the International Films Festival Parma Italy, Runners up for Lattice Awards 'Sustainability', short listed for BAFTA UK, 3 weeks on CBS Jumbotron Time Square New York USA. Her work has been shown on numerous film festivals all around the world. (L.A., New York, Melbourne, Singapore, Madrid, St.Petersburg, Hamburg etc.).

In 2008 the Robbie Williams Music Promo, The 80ies 'Skiving' was shortlisted for the British Animation Awards and screened in 48 Cinemas within the UK. She just won the Maple Leaf Award 2009 at the Canada International Film Festival.

Under the name of DubAnimation she provides a complete visualizing service – shooting boards, storyboards, illustration, animation, mixed with live action, compositing, editing. ‘From idea to output.’ She uses Final Cut pro, Flash, After Effects, Photoshop and her own hands in classic traditional animation techniques. Madeleine Duba illustrated a children book called Cybercones 'Spaghetti Junction'. Cybercones are now in the production to become a children animation program.

Madeleine is currently looking for finances/funding for her first short feature animation mixed with live action film called ‘Alina’s Big Birthday Adventure’. Aiming for family entertainment.
