Selected international designers, illustrators and artists have been invited to submit one to four designs for this one inch (25mm) button badge series. Stereohype sells 'B.I.O. series 1' badges separately and gives them away as a free surprise badge with purchased stereohype T-shirts. The 'B.I.O. series 1' includes artworks by Alice Brun-Ney, Ange Hayward @ Danger UK, Daniel Koh @ Amateur Provokateur, Elisabeth Lecourt, FL@33, Fred Frei, Happypets, Jody Barton, Marie O'Connor @ Peepshow, Megumu Kasuga @ YiELD, Michael C. Place @ Build, Tom Gauld, Patrick Duffy and Yorgo Tloupas @ Intersection magazine.

Megumu Kasuga studied Graphic Design (BA) in Tokyo, Tokyo Gakugei University.
He then went on to study on the Royal College of Art's (RCA) post-graduate Communication Art and Design course, London, where he  graduated in July 2001. During his last year at the RCA the design collective YiELD was born. Its international members work for clients in Europe and Japan. Megumu lives and works in Tokyo.
