Selected international designers, illustrators and artists have been invited to submit one to four designs for this one inch (25mm) button badge series. Stereohype sells 'B.I.O. series 1' badges separately and gives them away as a free surprise badge with purchased stereohype T-shirts. The 'B.I.O. series 1' includes artworks by Alice Brun-Ney, Ange Hayward @ Danger UK, Daniel Koh @ Amateur Provokateur, Elisabeth Lecourt, FL@33, Fred Frei, Happypets, Jody Barton, Marie O'Connor @ Peepshow, Megumu Kasuga @ YiELD, Michael C. Place @ Build, Tom Gauld, Patrick Duffy and Yorgo Tloupas @ Intersection magazine. Released: November 2004.

Marie O'Connor is a designer, illustrator and fashion consultant who turns her hands to illustrative stories and styling projects. Primarily craft-based in approach she uses an array of found materials, stitch and collage techniques in her work. Commissions include an exhibition installation for fashion designer Caroline Vogel, artwork for Levi's, Tank, Dazed & Confused, Mined and as a regular contributor to Shiseido’s style magazine Hanatsubaki.
Marie works on collaborative and independent projects, building a diverse folio of work across a range of disciplines:  She has developed her own 'Origarment' shoe range for fashion label Evisu, (soon in it’s second season + available worldwide) her one-off T-Shirt collection is featured in the book '200% Cotton', and her textile prints exclusively for 'Coco de Mer' are adorning lingerie and loungewear from Autumn 2004.

Marie has exhibited work in London, Hamburg and New York.  Also a member of London-based collective Peepshow she works on illustration and animation projects, site-specific customization of spaces and group shows.
