"Northern Mini Me"

Al Heighton is a cheeky chap from Doncaster South yorkshire he likes a brew and his bike falling in love with a lady would be a bonus for him. Al has just completed his first solo show "The Sporting Almanac of Al Heighton" at Hornseys in Ripon; after being part of many group shows up and down the country and even abroad. Al describes his work as sitting somewhere in a child's world and an adult world. Either way his work has been featured in The Guardian, Newby Hall, Bolton College, Computer Arts, Marks and Spencer, Channel 4, Lascivious, Made & Sold, The Arctic Monkeys "favourite worst nightmare", Creative Review and many others.
